LINCOLN -- Despite pleas from parents made in a Legislative committee hearing on Aug. 12, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services said it will stand by its earlier decision to require Nebraskans with special needs to receive services only from facilities within that state.

The last day of services provided by Goodwill Industries in Sioux City will be Oct. 15.
